Today's Trade + Thursday Levels (7/11/2024)
Another +300 tick day + a livestream in less than an hour!
Today was my last day trading paper/combine only, so I had fun with it trading the current day profile and have almost added another XFA to my lineup (it’s been a great week to build the backup accounts for sure lol!).
Also, I’m going to be doing a stream in less than an hour, link at the bottom of this email.

Trade Breakdown:
Missed the initial long from current day POC - this was a no brainer long today with the fundamentals of the Trump election + the undeniable trend.
Saw price easily push out the current day VAH, plus a lot of volume building at the highs = buyers still interested even at the highest point.
Built a position long off a small pullback, very little selling… LOTS of buying on T&S.
Took profit at the 50% consistency target for the Combine, +300 ticks.
Commentary: It’s been fun trading the current day profile on these wild election days. Not typically my favourite way to trade — I always prefer previous day levels. However on days like this it’s all you can work with! It’s been a no brainer “long-only” couple of days though, trading on easy mode much like during the 2020 lockdown era.
Back to trading real money now, let’s get some more green in the books!

Value Area High: 20,856.50
Point of Control: 20,795.75
Value Area Low: 20,656.75
