Today's Trade + Tuesday Levels (3/12/2024)

One trade today for +285 ticks (and a new confirmation tool I'm experimenting with!)

Quick email today as I’m about to leave for the airport — managed to get one in around 6am EST.

I’m also experimenting with another confirmation technique as has been heavily requested, and I’ve got something that’s been working quite well to help “confirm” trades or filter out potential losers.

I’ll be sharing more about this here and in TickJump when we release later this month, but for now let’s look at the trade!

Price moved up above PD POC, bought the retest on the upside, expected bullish movements so did not want to short at POC.
Bought in full position w/ 5 contracts long, targeting just under the PW VAH level as take profit target.
Quick trade, easy take of net +285 ticks!

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a huge fan of waiting for confirmations — I’d rather get in at my levels and if absolutely required use the Time & Sales or Bookmap to read the order flow.

But I’m testing something for those of you that prefer something a little clearer than reading order flow in the moment…

Not a magic bullet, but something that can help you better determine direction fo price and which level is likely to hold vs. break.

The levels I’m looking at going into Tuesday are:

Value Area High: 21,245.50

Point of Control: 21,221.25

Value Area Low: 21,167.00
